Review on ASUS XONAR SE 5.1 Channel 🔊 Hi-Res Sound Card with Windows 10 Compatibility by John Walker

This card performs exceptionally well, especially when compared to all the other sound cards people have tested. In my case in particular, the card itself installed with no boot problems, and the drivers I downloaded didn't even require installing the sound card's "Control Panel" to use it properly, it's optional. Of course, you can always have Windows install the necessary driver directly from the Internet or from the system library itself. However, you should always check whether the downloaded program is more recent than Windows. Luckily mine have already been updated with Windows only. Perfomance? Perhaps one of the best of any sound card I've used, including those built into the motherboard. The sound comes out SUPER clean and with just the right gain for my headphones. So there were neither problems with flat sound/sound nor noise that disturbed my perception. The microphone port is also very clear in audio feedback with very little background noise. So I can say with confidence that I got my money's worth.
