I gave it 3 stars because even when we check to make sure it's securely closed, it kinda opens mid-practice and all the rice gets thrown out! I add rice for extra weight to work with, which is great except when it opens in Hulu Hope after about 15 minutes. I literally had to clean up 5 spilled rice! So disappointing. Now that I'm discouraged I don't want to use it anymore as it keeps opening. That's a lot of tiny bits of rice that need to be collected and vacuumed. Can't imagine what kind of sand could be cleaned. No unless you use it outside and when it opens all the pigeons can eat what falls out.
