Review on 📐 Martha Stewart Crafts Compact Paper Cutter by Morgan Gilmore

This is a portable plastic trimmer that works well. I've had mine for over a year now and I've found it to be best for cutting scored cardstock or cutting diagonally from corner to corner - very clean and sharp. I didn't have a problem with straight lines either (as long as I start from a good paper position) since you don't have to press as hard to get a good cut. The base isn't the strongest, so this is important. I've had much more difficulty cutting in a straight line with other plastic platform cutters that require more pressure to get a good cut. Replacement blades are available from Revain, so there shouldn't be a problem. Changing the blade is not as intuitive as with many other cutting plotters. So I kept the instructions. ;) Overall I like this cutter. It's not my only cutter, and not the one I pull out for cutting large sheets of paper, but for fine work, line cutting or precise cutting (e.g. diagonally), or for harvesting or making dates, this is my favorite.
