The pliers will not open far enough to grasp the tabs on the BMW 325XI inner trunk clamp. Clamp 98mm. I don't know if I got a bad tool or something, but the Lisle pliers I borrowed from a local shop worked great with the clamp. After using this tool and Lisle, I suggest spending the extra $10 and getting a better tool. The difference in quality is enormous. Even if you rarely use the tool, it needs to be clamped perfectly to prevent leakage, so it's well worth the extra expense for a better tool.
