We are very happy with this swing. We hung it on the patio bedspread and our little one giggles and smiles as she swings and we drink tea. It hangs at a good height so we can push it and make eye contact. The ropes are long enough for her to swing high enough. As the baby grows into a toddler, we should probably add some hoops or chains to increase the length lower to the ground so that they can swing more on their own and swing more. Some reviewers complain that the straps are difficult to fasten, but neither me nor my husband, so my older kids are having a hard time at all. If they were a little lighter, one would be afraid that they would come out on their own. I think they are just right the way they are. They are designed in such a way that the child cannot reach them and free himself. This is one of those toys that are greatly appreciated. Unlike an overpriced electronic monster that eats batteries, breaks easily and kids tire all too easily, this classic provides countless hours of fun and lasts for multiple kids. Highly recommended.
