All 350 drive gears are not created equal. This is unknown. My '72 C50 has an oval internal slot to drive the male oval oil pump countershaft. Since my old gearbox was in good condition, replacing it wasn't difficult. The old drive wheels seem to be out of stock. It is possible to install a new oil pump, an intermediate fork with a split shaft, a distributor with flat blades suitable for this drive. To do this, the oil pan must be removed and replaced with new parts. Not as easy as changing the drive wheels. Excellent fit and finish. I had to measure the components accurately to make sure I could replace the drive gears and I was impressed. The wires were also impressive and gave the exhaust manifold a lot more clearance. The truck's launch and performance have been improved beyond expectations. The delivery took longer than expected but within the stated time. All about 5 out of 5.
