These were the correct bulbs to replace burned out ones for the air conditioning, ash tray and shifter. I removed a star for the socket for a lightbulb with a manufacturing defect that couldn't be used (didn't fit in the cartridge). Replacing the lightbulbs for the air conditioner and ashtray was pretty easy. Replacing the bulb in the switch was much more difficult. left a lightbulb that worked great in my car. The packaging said they were made in Japan. However, on a recent purchase of the same 74-bulb lamp (I've tried both Sylvania and Philips) they didn't fit as the base was too big.
