Finally the right bulbs for my Toyota

I need this for the climate control panel of my 01 Corolla. E74. Very important. Should be E74. Auto Parts kept telling me the 74 was the same! No, that is not so! E74 lamps have the correct base width. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Fading

Fits 3rd generation 4Runners vehicles

I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner and needed to replace the AC lights. I had to order them because the base was too big for the Sylvania 74 lamps I bought from Orieleys. These bulbs fit perfectly and light up like a charm.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not the best

It is the right size

Working. and fits perfectly into the lighting of the center console. It is used to light up my climate control levers on my 97 4 Runner. I tried a regular #74 bulb and it's too big. It does not need to be forcibly inserted into the electrical connector. lightbulb I am a happy camper.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • Some defects

Worked in my 2011 Dodge 1500 Ram

Replacing this lightbulb on my truck was easy, just watched a few YouTube videos on how to remove the trim pieces. But make sure you follow more than one person because one guy made it a lot harder than the other. Really take your time and it will make sense. I saved a lot of money by not having the dealer fix it. Note that this bulb is slightly smaller than the one I removed, but it fits perfectly and works just as well as the blown one.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing here

Worked great on a Honda Civic and saved lots of money

My Civic dash lights have been slowly burning out over the last 3 years. The only light I left on the speedometer was at 140 mph. Driving at night was a bit risky. Analyzed the Honda parts catalog on the internet and checked the size of the bulb (thin). The dealer not only offered the bulb, he also had the socket and the bulb, so the price was quite high. It cost over $70 to replace all of my lightbulbs. This kit worked great on my 04 Civic Si.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Perfect fit for my 2001 Chevy Prizm

These were the correct bulbs to replace burned out ones for the air conditioning, ash tray and shifter. I removed a star for the socket for a lightbulb with a manufacturing defect that couldn't be used (didn't fit in the cartridge). Replacing the lightbulbs for the air conditioner and ashtray was pretty easy. Replacing the bulb in the switch was much more difficult. left a lightbulb that worked great in my car. The packaging said they were made in Japan. However, on a recent purchase of the…

Soo happy to finally find the right lightbulbs!

I've been looking for bulb #74 for a few weeks now. I was in a car dealership and a few other big stores that sell stuff like this where they were selling a Phillips 74LL lightbulb. I bought these bulbs and was so upset to find out they have the same base size but the bulb head is much larger than OEM style bulbs. If you look at my last photo you can see big phillips on the left and ads on the right. These CEC bulbs are true to the original style and work great. And yes, you can buy them in the

Works in my 2006 Honda CR-V

Purchased to replace the warning lights in my 2006 Honda CR-V instrument cluster. that they didn't fit properly on the base - they were just slightly larger in diameter. The CEC bulbs fit well if only they were a bit loose in the electrical part of the base compared to the originals. All 10 bulbs lit correctly and evenly, with no visible difference in brightness between them. I'm taking off one star for the packaging and resulting quality - they're all bundled in a small unpadded box to allow…
