Exactly as described and lots of fun to play with. My 4 year old daughter loved these for her birthday and I will probably buy them for her 4 and 8 year old cousins for Christmas. This is a fun surprise egg that kids love, but it seems worth it when it comes with play foam. I think it would be great for different ages and older kids could enjoy it too. I agree that getting out of the container was quite difficult as one reviewer said, but I think it was simply due to the amount of game foam they were trying to pack. I decided to put it in a zip bag after we received it, much easier to manage that way.
