Review on Clutch Carrier Assembly Yamaha 2004 2007 by Geoffrey Graham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not a perfect match for the Massimo MSU700

From what I've read the Rhino 660 clutch parts should be the same as the Massimo MSU700. And to be honest, the one-way bearing, oil seal and clutch cover gasket were a perfect match. However, this wet clutch assembly had a small problem. The spline on the Massimo crankshaft is larger than the hole in the center of the new clutch. So the installation took a bit longer as I had to disassemble both the old and new clutch packs and install new clutch facings and springs on my old core. Once I did that everything came together and works great. Knowing I didn't purchase this particular part directly from Massimo, I can't fault her for being the wrong size. And since everything worked perfectly after I exchanged everything, I'm still happy to give 5 stars.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
