We bought this for my son for Christmas who woke up one day and found that he loved climbing trees. We thought okay dude we'll give you a ladder to help you out. Unfortunately, this ladder just didn't fit. As if nobody could figure it out or maneuver it. How general. People say that it's easy for kids to operate the rope ladder because it's more flexible, but no, this rope ladder wasn't easy. It was too shaky. Leaning against a tree. nope Hanging freely. nope ground spike. nope It just didn't work for us. It was made out of really tough materials, nothing cheap about it. We really wanted to love it. And just because it didn't work for us doesn't mean it won't work for you. But we weren't lucky.
