This is exactly what I need. One of my laptops damaged the internal speakers and this is a great replacement. So far it works on Mac, PC and "some" Linux with no problems (so far). Sure, it's not a "party speaker" or "soundbar," but it's a good midrange (mids and highs are higher than most typical laptop speakers). Oh yeah, the light is cool (and you can turn it off). If your PC or laptop has poor performance, this is a good solution.
