Review on Vinegar Shampoo Coconut Avocado Conditioner by Judy Thomas

Smells good but doesn't work as advertised.

First of all, the shampoo does not contain apple cider vinegar, only regular vinegar. I was very disappointed with this but it was mostly my fault because the seller obviously had a photo of the back of the shampoo bottle with the ingredients list. I'm still upset that the listing itself says it has ACV. Anyway, the only good thing I can say about this product is that it smells great, especially the shampoo, and lathers easily. That's all. As for the cons; If you think that you thoroughly washed off the shampoo, you are mistaken. Your hair may appear clean when wet, but once it dries, your hair leaves a heavy residue behind. At first I thought it was conditioner so I did a test just washing my hair and no conditioner but the problem still persisted. Your hair may look like there are no marks, but when you run your fingers over it, it looks like you haven't washed your hair in a week. I even tried shampooing twice and my hair was still weighed down! I bought this exclusively for AVC. I have very thick and wavy greasy hair and some dandruff/itchy scalp issues so I need a clarifying shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair and a conditioner to retain moisture. I used to use the ACV mouthwash three times a day. a week just to get rid of my problems but after a while it didn't work and lets be honest ACV doesn't smell very good so I figured buying an ACV shampoo would help. I'm sorry I hit with this one. Plus it's ridiculously overpriced. Conclusion: Is my hair soft afterwards? Yes, but it seems so gross that I have to tie my hair in a ponytail all the time and still have dandruff and an itchy scalp. I really don't know how it got such good reviews. I will finish a product because I put my hand into it and I hate wasting things. At least I can go with "smelling" clean hair when it's in a braid.
