I took her on a trip to a country where I thought my living space would not have central heating. I needed something that would meet international TSA standards and fit in my carry-on luggage. As I expected, the house my husband and I stayed in was cold, with very little sealant and even a gaping hole in the kitchen where the oven vent was. We just turned this little beauty on in the bedroom we slept in and closed the door for about 25-30 minutes and despite the low wattage the heat was enough to heat the entire room. We also used it while watching TV in the living room. We put it behind our heads for a moment to get rid of the cold air and feel comfortable. This applies to short distances. If you stray a few feet from it you won't feel the exit, but for what we used it for it was great. So glad I got it although I was afraid it would be ineffective due to its size but it was more than perfect for what we needed.
