I've had it for about 17 months. Was used for approx. 3 cross-country trips. In general I was satisfied with them. It definitely helps to see what might come up behind you when towing, at least on my 20 foot Jayco. I think the last time I took them off. plastic of course. Luckily I had a mini bungee cord which I hope will stay in place until I get to the site and can order another pair or something if I find it. I don't remember there being many options. But I don't think €19 is bad, even if you have to replace it every now and then. It's just that if they break and you don't have a workaround, you're out of luck.
