I bought this for some wooden steps. I was about to buy more of another product, can't tell the name but it's made by a 3 'and a letter' company but I saw the glow in the dark strip and thought it was a great idea for my use. .I apply this product to clean, dry wood with no wax or chemicals and exactly as directed. I also stamped the 3 letter stamp on the same surface (because I have some left over from walking a few steps on the boat dock). After 2 days, every piece of this product I put in either fully or partially detached. And NONE of the other brand strips came off or curled, they were firmly attached. Stick with the Big Box brand and save yourself the headache of having to reapply after 2 days.
