Review on MagnaFlow 99204HM Universal Catalytic Converter by Tyler Cooley

One of my converters broke internally so I bought 2 of them to weld on. Magnaflow quote for my 1997 BMW 540i. I welded them on at the store ($160 for both) and they fit perfectly. I used to replace the car muffler with a straight pipe and left the resonator in place. It sounded good. Now that these transducers are installed, the sound is much cleaner and about 1.5 times louder. It's too loud for me now, but it's nice to know I get fewer restrictions from them than factory cats. I would give 4.5 runs if I could. I docked a star for sweat discoloration. The picture shows a pristine almost polished converter which you will not get. But they work, and that's enough for me. I'll report on durability if anything goes wrong.
