Review on Motorcraft PW291 New Water Pump by Rob Jimenez

I was very disappointed with this purchase. I bought Motorcraft because I wanted a quality product and didn't want to do the job twice. This pump was made in China but shipped in a motorcraft box. I would never pay more than $80 for a "Made in China" water pump and I am very upset that Revain did not list this in the product description. You can buy Chinese-made water pumps for $25-35 at your local parts store. The installation went well and there are no leaks so far. February 2, 2013 The seal that was pre-installed on the pump started to leak. I don't think Ford Motor Company made this pump, I used to work for Ford and the seals Ford used were much better. I've tried to fix the leak but I think Revain may need to warranty the pump.
