I really like how they look, even the weird red inside. This is the first time I've worn a shoe with a composite toe cap instead of steel, but I like that they feel lighter and don't conduct heat/cold. I spent about a week taking them apart and then took a 2 week trip overseas, oh so much walking and they were comfortable but held up well: uphill and downhill in the wet, light hiking in the mud/wet, public transport, against Kicking rocks, jumping on things, running to catch a train, etc. The only issues I had while breaking in was that you have to really tighten the laces, really tug on each row until they're snug on the legs issue. Otherwise the outer part of my big toes would "roll" on the hard surface of the compound toe and would get quite sensitive by the end of the day. But no blisters. You just don't want them hanging around at all. =
