Leakproofness was a must for me and I really don't like bulky thick lids or lids with flexible rubber bands. They are seamless which makes them easy to wash without worrying about water getting into the lids. They don't take up much space. Thanks to their modular design, they can be stacked with enough stroke to prevent shifting. Describing glass as "thin" can be misleading as cheap or poor quality, but that's not the case with them. Containers are thin and smooth, glass breaks. For me it is the perfect combination of design and functionality. Oddly enough, this product comes with "10 year warranty and service". Finally, I like that the packaging has a recycling label. Well!
