Review on 💾 PNY 64GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive - High-Speed 200MB/s by Leroy Wolfe

Well I ordered a few months ago. Everything worked on my Mac. I only saved short family video clips on it. It wasn't the fastest, but good enough for what I needed. HOWEVER I plugged it in today and it is "Toast". It renamed itself to a weird icon name and all my files GONE. I've spent a lot of time researching these things and this one looked the best. Most importantly, all my files are LOST after just a few months. Of course I haven't backed it up yet as my large external hard drive hasn't arrived yet. Any ideas if this thing can be repaired or restored? To make matters worse, the return period has expired, but beyond that I'd rather get my data back! I haven't contacted PNY yet but will try when I have time. I'm just hoping someone here can share their experiences with me, or hope PNY will check out these reviews of their products and shed some light. Super unhappy and very saddened by the loss.
