Original 3 Star Rating :] Really wanted to like it, almost liked it. The concept is top notch. Pros: Size, style and versatility… Cons: The machine's external heat (external plastic case) makes the lid difficult to open and steam will burn if not careful. Too high a price. Unfortunately it's going back. :( Fixed the hot top issue by changing the steam delivery area and/or the handle attached to the lid and a lower price. UPDATE:] This was the first instant rice cooker I've ever tried. After returning it, bought it I have used other rice cookers and didn't like them all for one reason or another.Although I still find the price of this unit a little high, this machine varies in temperature by function (info in questions section) and I like the size.I have ordered another tlog unit and was happy to receive it yesterday unfortunately it was a returned unit so i am sending it back however i have ordered another one which should be here in a few days replacement silicone grip for pot and pan lids and use heat resistant silicone or tape to attach to the outer lid :) Also in the questions section I asked about the function of yoghurt and if I wasn't a bad ma schine has a, the yoghurt button does NOT heat up to 180°C, but keeps the fermentation temperature of the yoghurt. Either heat the milk on the stove or in the microwave to 180 degrees, inoculate, add the tlog and squeeze out the yoghurt. If you don't want to boil, use an ultrafiltered/ultrapasteurized milk like Fairlife and you don't have to heat it to 180°C first. 🌸
