Factory parts are better!
Nothing beats buying a genuine part. My 1998 B2500 was idling intermittently so I figured buying a replacement from an auto parts store (e.g. Pep Boys/O'Reilly's/AutoZone/etc.) would do the trick. Although the situation has improved, it has not been resolved. After installing this part I have no more idle spikes.
