I've been working from home for the last 16 months and doing LOTS of conference calls with people who shared their screens - with this big monitor their screens are really easy to read - as conferencing software likes to take up 25% of the screen. The screen is a lot brighter than I expected, but - aside from needing sunglasses first thing in the morning - it's pretty good; My old monitor got darker over time (several years) and I didn't notice it. I really need to check the available calibrations for the monitor. I ended up using an HDMI interface for my monitor (I'll be adding my two Macs with display ports soon) and find it pretty good. I don't make games or videos other than webinars and meetups, so I can't comment on that. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with the monitor and have no real complaints. I really need to learn how to measure things - accidentally ordered a larger monitor than I expected but it was entirely my fault. I also managed to get one with different connectors than I expected - totally on me too.
