I bought this to individually charge 8v batteries in a golf car. It is ideal for fully charging each battery individually without disconnecting all battery connection cables. Most people with golf carts never do. You only use one group charger that charges all batteries at the same time. It is recommended to charge the batteries individually several times a year. This charger works great. Also used to charge boat batteries and 12V tractor batteries. Expensive? Yes. But it seems well made and works great.
