The frame is made of hardened plastic. The handle is flat on one side and slightly curved on the other. In general, the handle is quite durable. durable and well made. It is very easy to open bottles with it. The engagement is right. It is absolutely no problem if the bottle opener easily grabs the cap and breaks the neck of the bottle. Some may disagree with the compact dimensions. I have to admit that it seems very small in my hands. Despite its small size, however, this bottle opener performs consistently and gets the job done every time. Recommended4 stars
