I used this product to bake homemade cookies. I wasn't entirely happy with this result, but I think that was because I tried it first. So I really blame myself, not the product. So I'll test something else. I think I have to bake the cookies longer because the batter is much denser than cake batter. I've also made homemade cornbread and muffins and have been very happy with the results. As they suggest, whatever you bake on top of the cake will brown the cornbread, as will the bottom of the cake, the cornbread, etc. I plan to try the cornbread dressing as well. I think there are many different possibilities with this device. I'm thinking of buying another one so I can bake 12 cupcakes or so at once. Well I think the biggest downside is that you can only bake 6 things at a time and I don't like waiting so I'll probably buy another one in the future. I plan to bake a variety of muffins with this appliance. I will try the brownies too. Cookies and cinnamon rolls. All bakers I think you will love this article. I've been baking for at least 40 years and this cake maker bakes just as well as a regular oven. I really like that it bakes very quickly, but of course if you fill the cupcake paper with more batter you will have to increase the baking time. . I just set a timer and then check it from time to time. I haven't used this device much, but so far I'm very happy with it. I love that you don't have to preheat a large oven etc. As soon as you turn on this device, it heats up immediately, probably in a few minutes. The only thing I would have liked for this device was an on/off switch. But I've never been disappointed with the quality of sunbeam I've ever bought. Also, the great thing about this product is that there is absolutely no need to clean this device. If you are using paper cupcake liners and spill any excess batter just wipe it off very quickly before you put the cake etc on it is very hot this needs to be done very quickly and carefully. To remove baked goods during baking, I just very gently remove them with a small rubber spatula very quickly. I've found this to be very effective and doesn't scratch the non-stick coating. Also, the price on Amazon was the lowest on the web and I checked many places with search engines.
