Based on my research, many aftermarket parts (including brake pads) do not meet OEM quality and performance levels. But they work great, bright galvanized rather than just painted, and work well. Only the brakes had to be renewed. The old disc brakes had four largely identical pads, two of which had wear indicators mounted on the outside. The Ford Edge needs to be put into brake service mode and back out of brake service mode for the brakes to work due to the electric electronic brake. And the inner and outer pads are distinguished by pads with wear indicators and attached springs in the inner positions. On my machine they are quiet and work well.
