I used this product to make a steampunk mask for Halloween and the results were great! After applying two coats of black acrylic paint to the styrofoam, I applied the wax paste with a finger. It took me a while to get used to the consistency (which is somewhere between that of yogurt and cookie dough), but after testing to get a feel for it, I'd say it came out pretty good. It's also worth noting that this product is a bit difficult to apply accurately unless you use a fine brush. Depending on how much product you use, you can get an aged or brand new metallic finish depending on your preference. Also, I'd say these two 1-ounce pasta sets for just under $7 are a pretty good deal considering one of these containers is around $6 at Revain.
