Review on USWE Hydration Pack for Cycling and Mountain Biking with Water Bladder - Ideal for E-MTB, Gravel Riding, and More by Shah Bell

1 snap closure, no loose straps but missing features for the price

MTB enthusiast, doesn't like a pack on his back, prefers to handle bottles. It's so nice to have a finished pipe. Only tried 3 other packs, 1 of which is an older CamelbakPro design, starting with the best features1. One button closer/release.2. Velcro adjustable secure elastic straps. no loose straps snagging around the chamber3. cool color options to choose from 4. optional gopro5 adapter. enough water for 2-3 hours of very moderate cycling6. The shoulder straps have mesh but are filled with flexible material which is really better without providing it 7. The water hose detaches from the pouch. Improves breathability and comfort. Don't feel uncomfortable, only the bottom straps are snug against the chest. does not swing after two accidents. Not as breathable as before. Dislikes: 1. When you bend down to tie your shoelaces, the bag will hit you in the head and water will flow out of the hose if you don't close it fully. To fill the bag, you must spread the top opening apart with considerable pressure using both hands, and then use one hand to pinch the edges just enough to hold it open while you fill it with the other hand. Most others have a round screw hole, which is very easy to find on other hydras.3. Nozzle, prefer to pull to open the style. It's up to you to figure out how to turn left or right to open. Sometimes you feel like you've turned all the way, but it seems like there's a limit at half point so you're dying of water, but it's not there. The hose needs a magnet to hold it in place and I find the clip cumbersome and a small basic bag at this price should have the magnet included. 4. The straps are thick which makes them very noticeable, not like many others. The bag can help in a rollover, but given the weight, I prefer it to sit lower on the back.

Pros
  • Hydration packs
Cons
