LOVE! Why? Gives really long lasting curls. Hair thin, smooth, straight. I've tried curling irons, curling irons, curlers, anything ionic, anything ceramic, hairspray, anything that creates texture. After an hour of curling and styling, the curls fell out after 30 minutes. This product gives me tight curls on the first day and with a little dry shampoo and a comb I get "old Hollywood" waves on the second day. Time for the correct application of the product, which is extremely important with stubborn curls. The longer your hair, the less you can curl at once. I need about 30 minutes. Because of the way the tool works, that alone gives you "I just got a body wave down from my ears!" look. My hair is definitely matted. Many times. You MUST read the directions (I know, yes!), use only about an inch of hair from your head, and make sure your hair is completely tangle-free and you're holding it straight out of your own head. That's right, not every angle can get your hair into the curlers without getting stuck. Turn it off and have someone help you rip your hair out while they're still baking. THE WORST EVER. If someone doesn't style your hair back, your hair will only curl around your face from your head to the ends. At the back of the head, U-shaped or V-shaped curls are recognizable below the crown. This is because it is very difficult to use the tool behind or overhead without getting stuck. I LOVE IT, although I've pulled my hair out a few times due to the 80's tangle and frizz. I've been using it for 3 days this week and I feel like a naughtier woman. I GET IT. Just like the husband. :)
