I clean so portability is important. I agree with the reviews that it doesn't last long. The first thing to do was the pin that held the broom head in place. Since this happened during operation, I solved this problem by sticking a small trimming nail in and putting tape on the head of the nail. That's how it worked. Next is in order for the extensions caps to hold so they don't loosen and break when sweeping you have to overtighten them which is a problem as they then get stuck in the extended state (can't unwind) and lose it the portability. Good idea, but they need a better design to get it through the first or second pass for those of us over 30 square feet to use.
