Review on 💙 Teknor Apex Zero-G Half-Inch by 25-Feet Hose in Blue color by Christopher Bacho

I was surprised by the quality of the hose itself. Some reviews suggest you can ruin it by stepping on it. I think just hanging it under slides or tucking it under an RV would be enough to prevent this, but it looks and feels pretty solid. I wasn't concerned about the durability of the hose itself when I saw it and it folds down into a small and handy size that fits into a small bag or even a converted plastic ice cream tub for a 25ft footer fits. Due to a serious male connector leak, send it back immediately. I've noticed that several others have reported a similar issue, and it's bad enough that I think it should have been found in QA. He was also not to be overlooked in the low-pressure air test. Taking a closer look, I saw that an inner brass-colored sleeve was pressed into the outer (aluminum?) shell. They definitely weren't aligned properly, resulting in backsplash that could be used to water the garden. I hooked it up to the output side of a 40psi pressure regulator so it definitely wasn't an over pressure issue. Unfortunately I didn't check before traveling and when it failed immediately Revain promptly replaced it overnight but there is no option in the replacement service to ship it to an alternative address other than where the product was originally shipped. (for example to the next campsite on the trip) so I had to return it on credit. I think I'll give it another try as it looks like a great hose but I can pick it up at the dealer where I can make sure the press fit on the fittings is fine to avoid the hassle of returning it again. It looks like the likelihood of a malfunction is slim, but it also looks like it's not unique and has happened before. It's also clear that at least this film didn't pass the final quality check. It is difficult to determine a star rating. I think the job hose probably gets a five star rating, and while it's a complete failure, it's unfair to give a single star for a manufacturing defect and poor quality control. So I picked three but I wouldn't be surprised if you get 5 stars if you buy one. I think this is probably a 5 star product. Recommendation: test before you go.
