We bought this to connect fresh water to our motorhome and have been very happy with it. Nice and light. Easy to connect. And most importantly, there is NO unpleasant taste or odor in our water. I used this hose once with great success, I liked that it folds up small and is much easier to store than my old heavy duty blue Camco hose. Second, plug it in, everything seems fine. I bought two of these tubes. One of these leaked in the crimp connection the first time it was used. Contacted Teknor Apex directly and got a refund straight away which was great. After trying everything imaginable, expand and contract hoses, straight rubber garden hoses and contractor hoses, I decided I really liked this hose better than anything we had previously used . I was surprised by the quality of the hose itself. Some reviews suggest you can ruin it by stepping on it. I think just hanging it under slides or tucking it under an RV would be enough to prevent this, but it looks and feels pretty solid.
