I've only used this rotary scrubber a few times. I think the performance is sufficient and I will find many uses for it. The reason I wanted to post a review is that while the brushes may appear soft enough for polished surfaces, I know that brushing can skip stains and bath foam can appear as stains. the thought is complete. In general, cleaning with a cloth will cover most of the surface. I took a cleaning cloth, laid it over the scrubber head and secured it with a rubber band to make sure it didn't get in the way of the rotor. This turned out to be a more thorough way of washing the tub. Since I've renovated the tub and installed new plumbing, I want to prevent possible abrasion. Fabric tied with an elastic band may be softer on the surface. It would be great if companies made a washable soft polishing pad available. Overall I find many uses for the brush set and thought I'd offer this cloth over the brush for those who want to try this crude idea. It worked well.
