Review on 🔎 ACDelco UPF52 Ultraguard Specialty Engine Oil Filter by Chris Horton

Super efficient oil filter made by the good people at AC Delco. Uses the same product application as regular AC Delco filters. The Delco AC filter can be PF52, the corresponding Ultraguard would be UPF52. Only a few sizes are available so far, UPF 44, 52 and 48, and they fit Corvettes and most LSX powered vehicles. Their ultra-high efficiency is due to their ability to capture most particles smaller than 10 microns. These particles are small enough to fit between some of the bearing gaps and can cause excessive bearing wear if not filtered out. Ultraguards not only captures these particles, but smaller particles that do the most damage. Some filters have a compromise between filtration efficiency and oil flow: not with them, they filter well and their flow rate is excellent.
