I had a small version of the cheese board with a tool tray inside but it was too small too. The tray is big and durable! The pull-out tray with compartments is very convenient for storing snacks such as nuts. The tool box is good. The addition of white bowls and little forks made it a better choice than other charcuterie boards! I think two-pronged forks are better than grabbing forks from a cutlery drawer. All night people joked that the forks and bowls were so "fancy" and that I was obviously rich with such a luxurious board on hand. 🙄🤣 I like to party after work. I appreciate that I have people and I don't mind working. You take things for granted until they go away. Any excuse to invite friends over and mix my Costco snacks into amazing sweet and savory combos is now a good one! This time I read the care instructions and confirmed that washing hands with a mild, non-drying soap is the right way to handle this dish. I don't think I've used mild detergents on my smaller board and the bamboo has chipped a bit over the years. By the way, this board is heavy. It's not cheap. It worked so well on my patio table which is an open iron structure. I hosed it down before bringing it indoors for storage. I also appreciate a dust cover because it keeps bits and cat hair off the board when it's stored on a shelf.
