This is my 4th pair for many years, they are good water shoes, yes you get used to the sock, now I prefer it, doesn't let toes slip, squeak, etc. lasts me about 2 seasons, then a big one, the finger seems to give and tear inside, then the finger starts to stick out and sticks out sometimes, so maybe in season 3 I'll hit 2 1/2, I'll have to order another pair. and the price keeps going up, I've bought others but one of the things that keeps me coming back to them is the thickness of the sole and the way they curl up a little on the sides, I walk on a lot of stones. Another thing associated with stones is that they can get stuck at the bottom, and often you can't even feel them because of the thickness of the bottom, but sometimes you can and should take them out (take a pocket knife with you - easy) They need to change the material they use between their fingers to be more durable be and close the bottom slightly otherwise great shoes.
