This is the third phone mount I have, the first was rubber and the phone bounced, the second was solid but I had to remove the case from the iPhone. so that he sits securely. However, this is a sturdy phone mount that protects the phone and case. The mount rests on a "ball" that allows you to change the viewing angle.
