key problems? Read this review for hints. Or not, mine still doesn't work properly.

A little confused. He wanted me to connect it to a blue wire with a red stripe. Spring. Apparently Ford likes the blue wires with the red stripes as there were 3 behind the radio. One was an unused pin on the factory speaker harness, the other I believe was the connector for the old rear seat audio panel, the last wire was connected through a wire harness that ran behind the radio to an unknown box behind the glove box. I assumed it wasn't the one who just passed the team. I first tried the wire on the speaker harness and it didn't work, then I tried the wire on the rear audio control harness and the steering wheel controls worked. Mine started failing after about 5 months. Sometimes pressing the volume down or up will switch to the next song. I disassembled and removed the tap that was used to connect to the wire on the factory steering wheel control harness and connected them directly together for a better connection and no more problems. The problems reappeared the next day, and after overcoming and ignoring the problem for a month, I returned to him. I researched how to open the steering wheel, went to the junkyard, found a couple of button modules in good condition and replaced the control buttons on my Expedition 03, which is easy if you're brave enough to deal with the airbag as it comes off got to. Be very careful with the airbag. Disconnect the battery and allow the vehicle to sit for 30 minutes to de-energize the computer modules before touching anything related to airbag systems. After replacing the button, everything is fine and ticking for 3 days. If you're having trouble I would still start by making sure your wiring is OK and then suspect the button modules on your car. 3 days was all I could fix, the buttons worked constantly. this thing is going to be more work than it's worth. I contacted support before the warranty expired and am waiting for a reply. all wires are soldered for better conductivity, has its own ground (does not have the same ground as the head unit). Firmware updated on ASWC-1 and main unit. The car has no other issues that would lead me to believe it is a factory wiring issue. All other buttons on the steering wheel for cruise control and air conditioning work fine, absolutely no problem, so I'm pretty sure my ASWC-1 is defective. He started acting late in the spring so I'm wondering if he can handle the Texas heat?
