I wasn't sure I would like the folding waffle maker. But I tweaked it, made my favorite buttermilk sourdough, and gave it a try. The waffles are amazing. They are slightly crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. I make a whole bunch at once and freeze them. Then when I want to, just pop one in the toaster (in easy toast mode) and they come out amazing. Overall I think this is the best waffle maker I have ever used. I've had 6 or 7 in my life and this doesn't have an overflow problem like some, the waffle plates are nice and deep and there are HUGE dimples on the waffles. Ideal for storing butter, pecans and syrup.
