I use this every week

I work at a church and we use it every weekend. It is in very good condition and can bake waffles. We have a few and we do 40-60 a week. I like Waring too, but it's a much better price and very comparable product. Plus, you'll save even more after the repair!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • For old

Excellent temperature control, cooks quickly

I really like this waffle maker. I can make enough waffles for my family AND eat them for breakfast! The temperature control is perfect and it is very durable. Easy to clean. It's big and takes up a lot of space, but it's great.

Fast, consistent waffles

Bake waffles quickly and maintain a consistent temperature. I found I didn't have to go through 3 settings and they came out golden. Cleaning is a pain. The plates don't slide out, so you'll need a handy soapy kitchen towel to really get into the grooves for a thorough clean. This is my only complaint. I've never had breakfast so fast! It's worth the space as it's bulky.

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • Low maintenance

More than disappointed

I have had many of these waffle irons and they work great except this one. The quality control on it was TERRIBLE! When I first connected it to the heater it started beeping and never stopped. I called Cuisinart and they had no solution as to why this is happening. But I'm disappointed that it wasn't properly checked by QC before shipping.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Disappointment with small household appliances

I really wanted to have this waffle iron. In theory, it would save me time preparing Easter brunch and allow me to sit and eat with family and friends. However, on two test runs I did before Easter, this thing burned on one side and didn't toast in a square or two on the other side, leaving the other two fine. This wasn't the only problem. super annoying. There is no switch for that. This continues even after the waffles are removed. I like this idea but overall I am disappointed with this…

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Sad packaging

I LOVE this waffle maker

I wasn't sure I would like the folding waffle maker. But I tweaked it, made my favorite buttermilk sourdough, and gave it a try. The waffles are amazing. They are slightly crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. I make a whole bunch at once and freeze them. Then when I want to, just pop one in the toaster (in easy toast mode) and they come out amazing. Overall I think this is the best waffle maker I have ever used. I've had 6 or 7 in my life and this doesn't have an overflow problem…

  • Pleasant
