Normally it is not advisable to leave reviews. The only reviews I leave are for products that don't quite suit me. However, I'm not entirely ruthless. Let's start with the good: * Great features and functionality at an affordable price - I was blown away by the amount of features packed into this handy little device. * Clear, easy-to-read dot matrix display. Yes, it's not much, and the metrics I focus on on my ride are heart rate and cadence (RPM). These indicators are located on the side of the display and are tiny. However, the system allows you to customize the screen with the displays you need.* GPS. Yes, you get GPS at an attractive price.* Synchronization with popular services such as Strava etc.* Accessories work perfectly. The heart rate monitor actually tells me my heart rate was 196 beats per minute, so I knew I had to hold myself back to not kill myself. The speed/rpm/cadence monitor works well. It connected to the bike computer without any problems. The heart rate monitor even connects to my phone.* Cool Ghost feature: I love it. On one of your rides, you can compete against "yourself” with a virtual racer. The virtual racer simulates the drive compared to your original time. You just have to drive a little faster than the virtual racer. A really fun way to motivate you to break records. Now for what pissed me off about this device: * I couldn't track my first ride on this device. An error has occurred"Memory full!". Memory full? I didn't even save any routes on it. I looked at the memory status and yes it said 100% used. So I had a very expensive speedometer on my first trip. I was able to fix this by plugging it into my PC and making sure there was NO data on the "installed storage device" (my Mac saw the bike computer as a USB drive). device) and performed a factory reset by pressing and holding the power button for more than 10 seconds.* GPS syncing is too slow. I have to turn on the device 10-15 minutes before driving. I was fed up with this and just made a procedure to keep the device on while I got ready for the trip. * The ability to adjust the size and weight of the bike is questionable. Apparently you have the option to adjust bike tire size and weight to get more accurate calculations for your performance. cops**t. I have a mountain bike with 26 inch tires. 26 inches are 660.4 mm (mm is measured by the computer). I set 660mm and it messed up ALL my measurements. Which ruined one of my trips. * Software error when calculating idle speed and distance. In my two trips, my average speed was 99.68 km/h and I rode 110.8 km. WTF? Am I driving that fast? In an hour? I noticed the discrepancy when I took a short break. As I continued my journey, I noticed that my total distance had increased from 5km to 110km. what is real I found a workaround by setting the "Autopause" feature. When you rest, the computer pauses the clock and recording. When he felt movement again, it went on. But that ride was still ruined because I set my wheel size to 660mm (26" is my tire) so my speed and distance was ruined. AGAIN. * GPS is not accurate even with location line. Sometimes when the speed/RPM sensor goes to sleep, I see the speed just fluctuate out of the blue. And I don't even move! I really want to like this device. But it looks like I'll have to find workarounds to get it working for me. I have not yet recorded any successful rides with this device. The reason I have this is so I can leave my phone, but even with that I end up grabbing my phone so I can track my activity with the Moves app. I don't know if I want to return it as it might be too complicated. If I can figure out all the issues with this device I might be able to get this thing working for me, but the initial experience was terrible.
