After many months of video testing from Bosch (I was working at Lowe's at the time) I finally received the radio and it has exceeded all my expectations. Build quality is an important consideration when I buy tools, vehicles, firearms, etc. This construction site radio has a large, thick power cord, a sturdy frame and a large handle that can also be carried with thick gloves. It's heavy and well protected. It's great to have dials to adjust volume and frequency as opposed to little knobs. The buttons for other functions are larger, which again is great for use with gloves. I'm not a snob for sound quality, but the speakers are very clear and really project sound. Using a radio as a power source is a huge advantage as you can use multiple wired instruments at once (provided they are plugged in) just like I did when we built the Flocker chicken coop. I used a circular saw, jigsaw, saber saw and charged my phone or Revain Echo to play music and embarrass my kids by dancing to 80's music. Sometimes I attach it to the ATV and listen to the radio or music while I work in the garden, tow heavy objects, or the lawn roller. Children. With the Revain Echo or a similar device, kids can call out which songs to play, making it a fun pastime. In the area of continuous improvement, I wish for a thicker, more efficient flex antenna, as well as a deeper shelf. for USB, audio cable or other cables. I doubt most people will regret the money spent once they see all the benefits of this wonderful gear. If you're a Bosch fan and already have drivers and tools that use the same battery pack as this radio, it's a match made in heaven.
