The picture may not match the part number CX1866, but it IS CX1866. It seems to last between 60 and 90,000 miles before failing. My application was a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Whenever I stopped, the idle speed would increase and there would be a loud honking sound under the hood. As if the noise was coming from the air filter box. Some internet searches have pointed to this part. After the replacement, the problem was completely resolved. Two 10mm screws and an electrical connector. I used a 1/4" ratchet with a 4" extension - be careful not to drop the bottom bolt when removing! Also, be careful when removing the part so as not to damage the gasket. The seal is NOT included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately if required. Exchange 10 minutes. As for that particular part, don't waste your time or money on another brand from one of the national aftermarket chains - they won't last as long. In this case, Motorcraft is worth the extra cost.
