A little more bass - speakers

This is a good speaker for the price, but I was a bit disappointed with the overall sound. . I've noticed an improvement in bass over TV speakers, but it's minimal. I have a fairly new Sony flat screen TV. We've always been impressed with the sound from the built-in speakers, but I wanted something that added some bass. After playing around with the TV's audio output setting, I was able to get decent sound from this speaker, but I think the TV's speakers themselves have a fuller sound quality with a bit less bass. I wanted to be able to run the TV's speakers and soundbar at the same time, but after spending some time tweaking the options in the TV's audio output menu and toggling between the wired connection and the Bluetooth setup, there's always a constant lag in the Audio output from the soundbar causing an echo effect. The soundbar turns on and off with the TV, which is nice. I think if you have really bad speakers on your TV this soundbar would be better, but for us it's just an alternative source of sound. Again, the bass enhancement is minimal and I think our TV itself has the best virtual surround sound. Update: We've had this soundbar for a couple of months now and are constantly having issues with audio out of sync. I've tried connecting it via HDMI, digital out and Bluetooth and spent a lot of time adjusting the TV settings to no avail. I have to say right away that I regret this purchase a little. The time I've spent fixing sync issues makes me wish I'd gone for a better setting.
