I really like this gadget, it saves a lot of time too. My husband and I wanted pure almond or soy milk. After receiving it, I soaked 1 cup (inclusive) almonds and 1 bean each for 6 hours and made my own milk, one with the included milk nozzle and the other with soy. I found a very good video with easy to follow step by step instructions saying it's better to buy blanched almonds which I didn't know about at the time. I drained and cleaned the nuts and beans but it doesn't seem necessary. Then I first poured the nuts into the milk nozzle, made sure it was well attached to the top of the soybean, and poured a liter of water into the body of the soybean. I put the lid back on and press the grinder (note: soy milk option!). After 3 seconds the machine stops, but I repeated the process 4 more times and got a very good result. I just added Madagascar vanilla, a drop, and that's it. My husband liked it. I then repeated all of the previous steps to make soy milk, but: I took the soy nozzle and pressed on the milk. Soy milk takes longer to boil, around 15 minutes, and is noisier too, so don't panic, this is normal. The most important thing is to attach the drains well to the top of the soyabella (they have engraved symbols on the nozzles) and not to overfill the water (water levels are also indicated inside the soybean body). You have a meter for when it's too full, but you still don't want to make a mess. Optionally, you can purchase a tofu dryer (if you have a Greek yogurt dryer, use that). 1 cup per liter is quite economical. The resulting "milk" should be stored in the refrigerator, but no longer than 5 days. Soybella seems solid, stainless steel is fine. The rest of the parts are made of plastic. Wash it by hand, but for obvious safety reasons, do not immerse the top or body in water during washing, and do not unplug the power cord. This kettle-like device also comes with a brush and aggressive sponge, which I wouldn't use to avoid hitting stainless steel, but that's just me. Clean all attachments and Soybella as soon as possible, otherwise it will hurt. I like the fact that it doesn't take up that much space, but I wish I had a box to store the attachments.
