It serves its purpose. Nice fire at all times.

Very realistic. Somehow the tv remote works on the same frequency which makes it turn on and off when using the tv remote. And some of the heating will cause it to get too hot and trigger an emergency shutdown, causing it to turn off for a while before you can turn it back on. But we don't use it for heating, so we turn off the heating as soon as we turn on the flame. I really like it!
