1-1/4" hitch. It uses a 1/2"-13 t/in anti-rattle bolt (standard, non-metric). I needed a locking bolt to have peace of mind. Softride no longer makes roof racks and accessories. This lock also has a 1/2-13 -Threaded and threads in smoothly.(.one of the few locking screws that even mentions the thread size in the description.Specs; how refreshing!) Fits my rack perfectly.The lock and keys seem very secure so far.I will update this review if I encounter any issues.
