Do not use a mattress topper on it!
There were no instructions NOT to put a mattress pad on it. I used the mattress topper as usual and felt like my body was on fire. Eventually I called Zinus to ask about this issue and was told to NEVER use a mattress pad as it would interfere with the cooling effect of the copper. When I removed the cover the heating problem went away. Very bad advertising!
